This website is operated by MNC Goats, trading as MNC Goats (we, us, our). By using the site you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.
These terms cover the website. They are not the agreement for a grazing job — that comes separately, in writing, with your quote. Where the two disagree, the booking agreement wins.
Our estimates are estimates
The estimator on this site produces an indicative range from a handful of inputs you supply. It is not a quote and not an offer, it doesn’t create a contract, and we’re not bound by it.
It works off assumptions — typical grazing rates, average travel, a normal number of site visits per week — that may not match your property at all. Things it can’t see include how hard the site is to get a float into, what the ground does when it rains, whether the perimeter needs temporary fencing, how far water has to be carried, what’s actually growing there, and anything that turns up on the day. Any of those can move the real figure well below or above the range shown.
A firm price comes after a site inspection, in a written quote, and only that written quote binds us. Timeframes shown alongside an estimate are approximate for the same reasons, and grazing durations shift with weather, vegetation and how the goats actually work the block.
Enquiries don’t create a booking
Sending an enquiry or requesting an estimate doesn’t reserve goats, a date or a place in the bookings. A booking exists once we’ve both agreed a written quote. Dates are necessarily flexible: if the property before yours needs more time, it gets it — and you get the same consideration when the goats are on your place.
Bushfire and hazard reduction
Targeted grazing reduces fuel loads. It is one tool among several, and it does not replace your own bushfire planning, the advice of the NSW Rural Fire Service, or any hazard reduction that is formally required for your property. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that a property will be safe in a fire, and we don’t provide bushfire certification or compliance advice. Follow official RFS guidance first.
Animals, safety and your property
Our goats work inside an electric fence that carries a serious jolt. Goats are livestock, not pets — horns, hooves and headbutts are real hazards to anyone who isn’t used to handling them. Keep yourself, children, visitors and pets outside the fence, and keep dogs well away. If you’d like to meet them, ask us while we’re on site.
Goats eat what’s in front of them. You’re responsible for telling us before the job which plants, gardens, trees and structures need protecting, and for telling us about anything on the property that could hurt an animal or a person — chemical residue, poisonous plants, old fencing wire, disused wells, unstable ground or predators like wild dogs. If we aren’t told, we can’t fence it off or avoid it.
What you need to have sorted
Booking details are set out in your quote, but as a rule you’ll need to have a property identification code (PIC) for the land which we can help you get, safe access for a vehicle and float, access to water, and the authority to allow grazing on the property — whether that’s because you own it, or because the owner has agreed. We can help you sort a PIC if you don’t have one.
Information on this site
We write the guidance on weeds, grazing and land management from experience and from public sources, and we try to keep it accurate and current. It’s general information, not advice for your particular property, and it isn’t legal, agronomic, veterinary or bushfire advice. Don’t rely on it alone for a decision that matters — talk to us or to the relevant professional. We may change the content, the services described, or the site itself at any time without notice.
Using the site properly
Please don’t attempt to break into, overload or interfere with the site; scrape or harvest it automatically; submit false details or someone else’s personal information through the forms; or use it for anything unlawful. We may block access if you do.
Content and trade marks
The text, photographs, illustrations, layout and logos on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You’re welcome to read, print and share pages for your own use, and to link to them. You’ll need our written permission to republish, sell or use our content commercially, or to use it to train an AI model.
Links to other sites
Where we link out — to the RFS, Local Land Services or anywhere else — it’s because we think it’s useful. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for what’s on them.
Liability
Our services and this site come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits those rights, and nothing here is intended to exclude any liability that the law says we can’t exclude.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows: we provide this website as-is and don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that the information on it is complete; we aren’t liable for loss arising from your reliance on an estimate, an availability date or general guidance published here; and where our liability can be limited, we limit it to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top will change when we do. The version on the site when you use it is the one that applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes go to the courts of New South Wales, and we both agree to that.
